I didn't intend my statement to sound like a mocking though it might've seemed that way. “You save people from death yet you can't save yourself from the flu?”
“Stalking me now?” Prudence popped a tablet into her mouth and followed it with a glass of water. “I need to sleep. My privacy, please.” She retreated to her bed and hid under the blanket.
“You broke your record.” I ignored her request and sat on the study chair. The other bed looked inviting but I didn't dare. “I'm surprised you aren't lassoing me now.”
“You're not an enemy, I know.”
