A six-foot tall, hairy insectoid brandishing a giant stinger protruding from its back emerged from the shadows. She put her hands in front of her and conjured a white luminescent wall just as the creature tried to jab her face with its stinger. With a red and swollen weapon, the insectoid retreated in the dark, hissing.
