“And it's your fault,” the Death in the nun attire told me.

“And it's your fault,” the rest of the Death gang repeated in unison, their collective voices indicating a deathly finality that sent mortal cowards in an eternal state of fear.

I stomped my right foot and stood my ground. We might be a collective but each of us is unique. Sister Death started chanting in a foreign language. A small black hole popped in the air above us bringing a low humming sound along with its sudden appearance. The other Deaths moved to surround Prudence. It was time.
