To banish your disease: nocturnal imagination.
They would not work in this caffeinated world
So you remained in bed, twisted and curled.
Gone is the calico sharing my bed,
Warmth next to me right by my head.
Took my heart with her as she crossed the bridge
Only leaving me with a piece so smidge.
My little black Luna, today she went bananas
'Cause she doesn't like to eat yellow ripe bananas.
This sounds silly. Do cats even eat bananas?
I am not so sure but her eyes look like bananas.
Call it getting old or whatever you want but the more I find contentment in my real life the less I have the energy to share it. I’m not saying sharing your life on social media for public consumption is wrong. However, some appear to overdo it complete with powerful captions and hashtags of jubilance, which sometimes prompts you to think, “Is all this an attempt to feign a ‘happy life’?” Last year, I had lots of good and happy events, I missed sharing online because I was too busy enjoying them so much.
